Cooking Class: Creativity in Action

As part of the ‘Creativity’ component, students from the Bilingual Program at Mario Quintana School took part in a cooking class. The activity combined learning, collaboration, and fun.

(Como parte do componente de ‘Creativity’, os alunos do Programa Bilíngue do Ensino Fundamental II, da Escola Mario Quintana, participaram de uma aula de culinária. A proposta integrou aprendizado, colaboração e diversão.

During the class, students explored their creativity while following recipes, measuring ingredients, and preparing their own cookies. In addition, they experienced learning in a hands-on and engaging way.

(Durante a atividade, os estudantes exploraram a criatividade ao seguir receitas, medir ingredientes e preparar seus próprios cookies. Além disso, vivenciaram o aprendizado de forma prática e envolvente.)

Throughout the activity, students used English to identify ingredients and follow instructions. They also interacted with their peers, which strengthened their language skills. As a result, language use became more natural and meaningful.
